Testing Custom PunchOut Catalog

First, I am an Ariba newbie.      We are looking to integrate our existing web application,  that allows buyers to purchase services, with Ariba.  Due to the custom nature of our services, we have determined that using a PunchOut catalog makes the most sense.  I am reviewing the cXML Solutions Guide and I've read a few other documents in the Ariba Production Documentation site.  I believe I have a test punchout catalog setup in our test account.  One of my initial questions is how can I work with this test catalog pointing it to a development version of our web site on my local machine?  It appears that SSL is required even in the test account.  Can I use a self-signed certificate? 

 

The existing web application that we will be integrating with is ASP.NET application written in C# running on IIS.

 

If this is not possible, how can I simulate cXML transactions being posted from Ariba to our application when we are developing our solution?

Trigger Ariba NetWork x Ariba Seller (Vendor) integration

Hi Ariba Experts

 

Please I started to do a P2O integration so I got a doubt :

 

Company creates a PO in ECC, The PO created is sent to Ariba Network ,  and forward to Supplier through Ariba .

So when the supplier log in into his Ariba Supplier portal, it will be able to see the new PO Received.

My question is :

 

How Ariba Network was able to send the PO to Ariba Supplier ? where is done this customisation ?

Is there any need of manual intervention inside of  Ariba Network or will be send automatically to the Supplier?

What settings can help notify a set of users when information about a supplier changes? Each supplier will have a separate set of users who will need notification when changes on information happens.

SAP receipts configuration

Hello

We are in process of deploying CI7 for ECC to Ariba integration and want to know message type setting needed to send ECC receipts to Ariba using WE03 message type. CI7 SAP Adaptor guide tells to configure WE03 with partner function "LS" but SAP gives error message "you can not enter partner function for output".

We user

Output type:WE03

Program: /ARBA/RECEIPT_PUBLISH

FORM ROUTINE: SEND_GOODSRECEIPT_SAVED

Japanese and Dutch Reverse Auctions

Hi,

 

I've been using reverse english auctions on Ariba having previously used Agentrics, but wanted to look at the possibility of using dutch or japanese auctions as an alternative.

 

Does ariba have the functionality to set them up in the same way as one would for a reverse english auction?

 

My colleagues think they are possible but they have to be set up as a custom auction, if this is a case could someone talk me through this?

 

any help would be very welcome.

Does Ariba SIPM offer integration of Vendor data to SAP ECC or SAP MDG-S?

We are looking for the integation of Vendor Master from Ariba SIPM to SAP ECC. Vendor can self register in Ariba SIPM and on approval the information will be passed to SAP ECC and create Vendor Master data.

Any idea on this integration or if anyone as built custom?

Export Multiple Addresses as part of Supplier Profile Export

Our client is looking to implement Ariba SIM to manage all vendor information, which then needs to be replicated in downstream ERP systems.

 

A major requirement is to be able to store multiple addresses on the supplier profile, which is simple enough, and Ariba does allow you to store that information as part of the Supplier Profile. However, when we are looking to use the Supplier Profile Data export option through integration manager, we are not able to view the multiple addresses that are stored against the supplier profile, only the main address is available for export. We looked at different services, like organization IDs export, organization IDs with vendor keys export, however, none of these have any of the additional addresses that we had stored against the supplier profile.

 

Please assist in letting us know if

  • Multiple addresses stored against the supplier profile can be exported in any way
  • If so, which is the service where I can look at this data, and in which column (if any)

Hi Exchange,

 

Does Ariba Supplier Network display a list of qualified suppliers automatically?

Is there a way that I define a certain criteria as buyer and then based on that, network pulls out list of all qualifying suppliers (with no action from suppliers after I post the criteria?)

Reporting Date filters using PST not AEST timezones

Hi,

 

We have attempted to run to extract all Purchase Orders that was created the previous day but the Ordered Date seems to be using PST not Australian time, so server time.

 

E.G.: Ordered was created on the 19th July 2016 (AEST) but when we run the report and filter by Ordered Date of 19th July the PO is not displayed as the server time is 18th July.

 

Has anybody else come across this and how did you resolve this?

Need to remove multiple users from different groups.

I need to remove multiple users from different groups, keeping the groups with remaining users as it is in Ariba. I don't want to completely remove the groups. I know one way to do this is open the group in UI and remove the users by unselecting them from the list.

 

But since there are 8000 users which needs to be updated, I want to do it via batch import or any other process which requires minimal manual effort. We are using Ariba FPC for APC, so I believe we need to do this in parent realm.

 

 

Please suggest. Its urgent, because I need to perform this activity in test first and then in production after successful completion in test.

I am currently working on the task to integrate the Ariba Sourcing with SAP ECC system through SAP PI middle ware.

I cant seem to find any document in the internet or Ariba connect on how to do this.

Can anyone point me to the right direction?
