we have introduced new access gate questions to our RFPs. Buyers are now complaining that they are spammed by notifications with following subject: 'All access prerequisites have been answered and accepted and ABC is able to see event content'. Is there any option to disable sending these emails? I tried to disable from Preferences / Change notification preferences and there is no such option ...

If you consider the below, for each kind of vendor what is the process to on board them to ariba or integrate them to SAP. Let me know if you have any idea.
ASN- Ariba Supplier Network
Client- Existing Client Vendors
A - Vendors who do not belong to ASN, but is having business with Client currently
B - Vendors who belong to ASN, and is having business with Client currently
C - Vendors who neither not belong to ASN, nor is having business with Client currently
D - Vendors who belong to ASN, but is not having business with Client currently

Hi Experts,
While sending data through PI to Ariba using Ariba Network Adapter , i am getting the below error message.
An error occurred when sending the document to Ariba Network Error: [[Code]: ERR501 [Description]: Unexpected Error [Message]: The url for the outbound is null with request type: OrderRequest] causes a XIAdapterException and can be retried
Can you please suggest what is the reason behind this failure.

When i was new to Ariba, i was running from Pillar-to-Post to find out information about Ariba. Now with some self-exploration, i have found some interesting and perhaps 'UNDOCUMENTED ' points about Ariba

Any thoughts on using Ariba CMS Request Procurement workspace as a legal matter management request system? For instance, our legal department has requests for more than just contracts, but for trademark registrations, copyright registrations, litigation, etc. We have CLIO for all matters that are not related to a contract and Ariba CMS for all matters that are contract related. Instead of having two separate request forms, would it be possible to use Ariba Request Form to receive a request for a matter and then push that request to CLIO through an integration or otherwise? The benefit would be that our internal business clients wouldn't have to use two different forms from two different systems depending on their request when they request legal services. Any thoughts? After I created a PR, the system mentioned "PO was not sent via Ariba Network to supplier", I find the following failed information:

Can we restrict access for the Team grader to a particular section/question/item of the RFP? So that only owner can see that particular section/
question/item. .
Does anyone have any suggestions for amending existing workspaces? We have a lot of 1 page renewal agreements to amend contracts. The renewals require legal review. When we first built out our process we did not have a renewal phase built in, same with the legacy loaded agreements.
I have since modified the template to trigger an amendment phase whenever renewal is selected as an amendment type, however as this only impacts new workspaces it won't come into play for some time.
Is there a way to push out a phase to existing workspaces, or even grab a phase that has been built out and stored somewhere (sourcing library maybe?). Sourcing leads manage their own workspaces, however as the admin I have been manually building the amendment phase out to workspaces on a one by one (as needed) basis. Thanks.

I have a doubt that maybe everyone has.
We are starting a implementation between SAP ECC and Ariba
and the first challenge we have is to define which Purchase Requisition will be sent to Ariba Sourcing and Vice-versa.
For example which field we can use to determine those PR that will make part of Ariba (Sourcing).
So I was wondering if there is any SAP note that I can apply in order to get a check box, or if someone has already created a rule in order to solve
this problem.

After closing a project...i don't see updating my data (i always see ....5 active projects).

First, I am an Ariba newbie. We are looking to integrate our existing web application, that allows buyers to purchase services, with Ariba. Due to the custom nature of our services, we have determined that using a PunchOut catalog makes the most sense. I am reviewing the cXML Solutions Guide and I've read a few other documents in the Ariba Production Documentation site. I believe I have a test punchout catalog setup in our test account. One of my initial questions is how can I work with this test catalog pointing it to a development version of our web site on my local machine? It appears that SSL is required even in the test account. Can I use a self-signed certificate?
The existing web application that we will be integrating with is ASP.NET application written in C# running on IIS.
If this is not possible, how can I simulate cXML transactions being posted from Ariba to our application when we are developing our solution?

I have been tasked with trying to implement the use of more reverse auctions within our organization. We have held many forward auctions but we seem to meet a lot of resistance around reverse auctions. I'm reaching out the Ariba community for some feedback on the usage of auctions. Below are some of my questions:
1) 1) On average how many eAuctions do you hold in a month?
3 2) When implementing the use of eAuctions did you experience resistance from others in your Procurement dept? Suppliers? Business Partners?
If yes, how did you overcome this in order to receive buy-in from these different parties?

I already have 9 years experience with SAP procurement certigied but know I would like to get into the integration between ARIBA and ECC.
Im based in London and its being really tough to find point of start.

Hello All,
I am testing the scenario of "Supplier Registration with set of approvals" in Ariba Test site.
So for this scenario , I have published the Default Supplier Workspace template in Draft status and created a new Supplier from UI (Create-> Supplier).
But after creation of Supplier , in the Tasks tab all the tasks are getting Cancelled automatically except the first one.
Need your suggestions why the tasks are getting Cancelled automatically ?
