We are not utilizing Contract Line Item capability within our Contract Workbench and wondering if there is any Limit to Number of Contract Line Items that can be created per contract. ACW On-Premise? and On-Demand?

Issue with Default Supplier Workspace template of Ariba SIPM
Hello All,
I am testing the scenario of "Supplier Registration with set of approvals" in Ariba Test site.
So for this scenario , I have published the Default Supplier Workspace template in Draft status and created a new Supplier from UI (Create-> Supplier).
But after creation of Supplier , in the Tasks tab all the tasks are getting Cancelled automatically except the first one.
Need your suggestions why the tasks are getting Cancelled automatically ?

Ariba Implementation Time line
Hi Guys,
I have 4.5 years of Experience in Ariba Technical Support for Buyer & Expense Module. Moved to Ariba Consultant profile, in Presales department.
I would like to know the time frame of Implementing Ariba PTP, Travel & Expense, E-Invoicing, Sourcing and Contract module, each differently (ON cloud and on Premise,both).
Also how much estimate time will it take to implement each module with ECC (for example SAP). If you have any guide or template that defines approximate timeline for implementation of above mentioned modules and its integration with SAP. Help will be much appreciated.

Data download from Ariba to SAP BW
Hi
I need to download the data from Ariba to SAP BW on an ongoing basis.
I am looking at using the Ariba Data Transfer Tool to download the data into a directory in Ariba and then move the files to our server.
Pl. let me know if this is feasible.

REST web services and supplier user requirement
We currently use SOAP web services to integrate supplier profiles with SAP ECC vendor master. We would like to transition to REST web services, but don't see a way around the requirement for a supplier user assignment in order to set the enable supplier integration flag. Is there a way to get around this restriction?

We are using SIPM for onboarding new and existing suppliers. How can we incorporate our native Vendor ID into the Ariba Supplier Workspace. Is there an additional field that we are not aware of that is available for this purpose?
We are aware of the Ariba ANID which is the supplier's Cloud Profile record. We are also aware of the Organization ID. Are there any other fields that we can reserve and then use to import our suppliers into the Supplier Workspace?

Ariba vs SAP SRM 7
Hi there,
Have any of you found documentation, blogs, white papers, presentations or studies where Ariba Buyer (9r1 ideally) and SAP SRM 7 are being compared?
I have seen some interesting blogs on spendmatters.com, a Gartner study, some SAP links (distinct SAP flavor! :-)), but nothing on Connect or Exchange. Of course a big point for Ariba is the ASN; what are the others?
Seems the trend is to compare both options, and we are at the gathering input stage... :-)

Ariba Configuration/Implementation Information
Hello All,
I have worked on Ariba Procurement Suite Solution (P2O) as a support consultant and was also involved in rolling out the solution to 2 new entities as well. I also worked as an Ariba adminstrator and was involved in data management and resolving user misunderstanding issues in the project.
Now i would like to explore further about Ariba and would like to know more about the configurations which are normally done as a part of the ariba implementation. I am basically a SRM / MM / Fiori Consultant but have worked for around 2 years in Ariba space.
Any pointers in this area would be great for me to get a full hand understanding about Ariba. I have explored a couple of guides in this space namely

2. Catalog Management Guide
3. Quick Start Guide
So would like to know whether any pointers in this regard of having some documentation about Ariba would be really helpful.

What is the difference between Purchasing vendor and remit to vendor. can these two be linked in Ariba OD?
1. can someone please explain these terminologies , "Purchasing Vendor" and "remit to vendor" from Ariba on-demand perspective?
2. Are Remit to Address and remit to vendor same?

I'm interested to know the success rate of a 2 supplier eAuction. Winner take-all scenario so a very large 'at stake' proposal for the lowest bidder. Is this used often? If yes, any guidance?
