FORMULA IF in EVENT

Hi Ariba Experts

Please we need to find a better formula for "IF"

for example if field A = " yes" then calculate 2 + 2, else if A="NO" then calculate 3 + 3

how would be the correct sintaxe for the description above ?

IF(A=YES,2+2,3+3)

Could you please provide guidance ?
