Different ways of accessing Ariba

Hi Team,

We are in the process of implementing Ariba. Got a question regarding Logging In, what is the difference between, "Corporate authentication" and "iCorporate authentication with Single Sign-on". Do i need to connect to "VPN" in second opton?
