Is it possible to have dollar and percentage items in an auction? If yes, how do I achive this?

I want to setup an auction with 2 items

1st item is created to accept a dollar amount

2nd item created to accept a percentage amount.

There will be competitive bidding on both items.

Whern I create the acution, you have to select the currency. Percent s part of the selection, but  when I select percent, it asks me to provide a currency conversion rate.

Never had this problem in our last version (Sourcing 4.4)

My question: When I create my auction, I select Currency = US Dollar

Is there a way I can create items that would accept a dollar amount for 1 item and Percentage amount in another item?
